Hi! My congratulations with SEC victory!
Na`Vi.Yozhyk: Hello. Thank you!
What's your overall impressions on the tournament? Please tell us in detail.
Na`Vi.Yozhyk: I have only the best memories! Warsaw which hosted the SEC tournament is particularly beautiful. On one hand it’s similar to Germany and on the other one it reminded me of Ukraine. If speaking about the game itself, I must say that everything was perfect. I got the victory in my group; I failed only once and made a draw twice. I had the best characteristics out of 2 groups according to statistics. My defense was extremely good. That’s the fruit of my style! And when it came to the finals, you know what happened. In the first final Schiewe showed highquality football, his defense was strong and his counterattacks were dangerous. I couldn’t do anything for 90 minutes. During the second match I looked on radar more often, I analyzed the game and my style turned aggressive. As a result I beat him 7-2. Everything resolved in the third game. It was equal and balanced. I had to open up twice. And on the 92 min with the score 2-2 Drogba squeezed Bosnigva and brought me the title of European Champion!
- Hi! You’ve won ESWC Qualifiers. How did you manage to do that?
- I was shocked. That moment I had the weakest ZvP matchup. And 5 out of 6 series of bo3 I had ZvP games. I had no exact timings or prepared cheeses. I just estimated the main points, figured which unit combinations I could use and how I could tie up in knots my competitor... And everything worked! I guess the main point was my ability to keep balance. I felt the anxiety only mixed-up with the smell of victory.
You were also good at WSG Ukraine Finals not so long ago. If the tournament were held now, how well would you perform?
The match against White Ra would be different. I’d perform much better. As for that time I had no exact plan for the game.
Hey Ioann! How are you doing?
Na`Vi.Edward: Hi, everything is great, thanks.
Edward, we’d like to ask you once again about IEM5. Can you describe the emotions you felt after defending the title?
Na`Vi.Edward: ЕМ was extremely important for us. We got deeply upset after European Finals and we had to rehabilitate after our loss. We made some conclusions and started to practice for the tournament in Hannover. We had been practicing for three weeks but the beginning wasn’t very smooth. We lost to Lions and took only three rounds for T-side versus SK. At this moment we realized we had nothing to lose and put everything at stake. We started to play brilliantly, found our game, got the flow. We kept performing like that till the very end. The feeling was great: we did what we wanted so bad. A pure happiness!
Hello, Aleksander! You are known as a selfless FIFA player, but can you tell us about yourself a bit?
Hello everyone. My name is Aleksander Riabikin aka BlooD, I’m 22 years old and I live in Kharkov, Ukraine. I’ve been fond of FIFA since 1998 and started to take this game seriously since it was included into official WCG roster in 2005. At the moment I am playing for Ukrainian FIFA 2011 National Team and representing FIFA squad of Natus Vincere multigaming.
Do you have any hobbies? Maybe you collect beer caps or like to roll coins under trains?
The only hobby of my life is football, both real and virtual. As I’ve already mentioned, I stated to play this game in late 90s when Road to the World Cup FIFA 98 mod was released. I didn’t even turn 10 years old back then :). There was FIFA World Cup in France and as it usually happens, everyone was talking about football. Of course, I got interested myself and started to go deep into this kind of sports. Bit by bit I started to follow various national championships and played real football with my friends. When I had some spare time, I crushed AI-enemies on virtual FIFA stadiums :).
Hello dear navi-gaming.com visitors! We are flying to the most prestigious professional tournament Intel Extreme Masters in about 4 hours. As usual, it will be held in Hannover at the largest IT-exhibition CeBIT. I think everything is going to be harder then it was last year. This time we are going to defend the title and every tournament participant is prepared for us. Well, we have something in our backpack too and we are ready for those challenges that we will face in the next few days.
We started to practice for the tournament about 3 weeks ago.
